HP iPAQ 2215 Pocket PC Order Now

This is my first time using any sort of palm device. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I bought used. It has been a good learning device for me. I had to download the manual which was not a problem. I did not realize that I would loose ALL information if the battery went dead. The battery will go dead even when the unit is off. The unit is hard to turn off. It leaves a ghost on the screen when it is not all the way off and I still struggle with this. I guess I just haven't learned the proper sequence to accomplish full turn off. It has left me high and dry more than once when I thought I had turned it off and just run down the battery instead. There is a backup feature but it is not automatic on this version. I am fairly tech savvy but this still trips me up from time to time. Perhaps it is a quirk of this particular older device or perhaps it is just me.

There are several apps I will never use but they can be stored in the background. The price was right, the features are good. I would probably buy a more recent model where some of these glitches have been resolved by newer technology. This is an okay device with older technology. If you don't mind fiddling around with it, then it's a good buy used. If there is a new model still out there, I would not pay more for it.
