This is my second Cyber-shot. The last one was damaged beyond repair on a fishing trip. The new one is even better, particularly in being more "user friendly" and offering more customization for special photos. The other nice and unexpected thing I learned is that even though my old camera was about 3 years old, I can use the same battery and charger. Now, I have a back-up battery that I salvaged from the damaged unit. The other nice feature is the little sounds that confirm various selections when making adjustments to the many options within the menu. I had the new unit about one month and probably taken 100 pics and am totally satisfied.
